Spinach is cold hardy and can be planted in very early spring and fall, or winter in mild climates. Plant in full sun to light shade in rich, non-acidic soil. Keep evenly moist until seeds germinate. Sow every 10 days for continuous harvest.
Harvest individual leaves as needed, or cut the entire plant to 2″ above the ground to encourage a second harvest.
