One solution is to stick a decal onto the window to show the bird that a surface exists. If a bird happens to strike a window and falls to the ground, carefully move the stunned bird to a safe area while the bird becomes fully recovered and can fly off.

Ideally the bath should be about 3” deep so large birds can soak and hold a flock that may bathe together. A large stone can be added to create an island. Be sure to clean bird baths often to keep water fresh and clean.

CARE INSTRUCTIONS: Place your birdbath away from foliage where predators hide. Place your birdbath a few yards from trees so that birds can perch on limbs and groom themselves. Keep water fresh to attract birds and prevent algae. Add birdbath fillers or rocks for birds to land on when drinking or bathing. To prevent water from freezing in your birdbath in the winter use a de-icer. If your birdbath cannot be maintained in the winter turn your birdbath top over or take indoors. Freezing water may cause cracking.
