Description
SilcaMat ™ is a permeable, rubber underlayment that can be installed on top of the SilcaGrate™ and underneath the porcelain, stone or or other pavers. SilcaMat ™ reduces the sliding and horizontal movement of pavers during installation, as well as deadens sound for the finished floor. Because of its unique, pervious design, it still allows for moisture to drain.
When using the SilcaMat™, SilcaSpacers would typically not be used. Instead, we recommend using an interior tile spacer to space the porcelain.

The SilcaMat™ is resistant to mold, bacteria, and fungi, and it is extremely stable in both cold and hot climates. This recycled rubber underlayment is also eco-friendly because it’s made from 94% recycled rubber.
