Prairie Cinquefoil is found in woodland edges, sand plains, roadsides, bluffs, gravelly slopes and along riperian edges. Commonly used in rock gardens, perennial beds and shoreline beautification projects in dry mesic-dry soils. Blooms in around September, in full to partial sun reaching a height of 12-36 inches.
