Pollinator Plants
Butterflies, bees, birds, and insects are all essential pollinators. They provide the necessary pollination for nutritious fruits, vegetables, and nuts. Pollinators, in turn, depend on plants to complete their life cycle. Planting for pollinators provides economic benefits such as improved crop pollination and beautiful flowering landscapes. Without pollinators, our environment would look very different. Minnesota is home to countless pollinators including 400 species of native bees.
