Gertens Pallet Delivery

Gertens is proud to offer convenient, local delivery on a variety of our palletized and bagged items using our own fleet of trucks. Below is a guide of how our delivery program works and important reminders when planning a project and placing your order.

• Pallet delivery is available on many of our bagged items as well as some of our landscaping supplies such as sod. A list of our most-popular palletized items can be seen further down on this page.
  
  
• Delivery charges will vary depending on the number of and type of pallets ordered.
  
  
• Palletized products are available in QUARTER, HALF, or FULL sized pallets, and the number of bags/items on a pallet will vary by product. 
  
  
• The number of items/bags included on each pallet will be noted on the product page itself. Sometimes the number of bags will be shown as a range since bag sizes can sometimes change throughout a season. However, we always include the same amount of product in a pallet even if the bag size is different. For example, a pallet with 24x 1.75-cubic foot bags would be the same amount of product as a pallet with 21x 2-cubic foot bags.
  
  
• Our pallets are delivered with a different truck than other products, particularly our BULK products such as Bulk Mulch, Bulk Soils, and Bulk Rock.  If you place an order that has both palletized items AND bulk items, you will see at least TWO delivery charges in your cart.  That is because your order would require two deliveries to fulfill. 
  
  
• To keep your delivery charges lower, try and order the same product type (only pallets/bags or only bulk). Depending on how many items you order, it may require multiple deliveries, but typically we can get multiple pallets and bags onto one delivery or in the case of bulk orders, we can sometimes split our bulk truck and put two bulk products in one truck delivery.

• Pallet delivery is only available in a select area in and around the Twin Cities. Our delivery footprint varies by the season, and to determine if we offer delivery in your area, simply add a product to your cart, enter your shipping address at checkout and see if a Local Delivery option appears. 
  
  
• If you enter your address into the checkout page and no shipping method appears, please call 651-239-1315 for a quote to ship to your area.
  
  
• Large deliveries, orders with multiple products, and alley deliveries may involve capacity limits that could require additional delivery charges that may not be reflected at checkout. If this situation applies, you will be contacted to discuss additional delivery charges. If an additional fee is required, we will always ask for your approval before fulfilling the order and will also give you the opportunity to cancel.
  
  
• There are NO RETURNS allowed on palletized or bulk items. The only exception is in cases of errors such as an incorrect product delivered.
