The JRK Ultra Dense Shade Mix is designed for shady, moist areas. This JRK mix is perfect for under dense canopy trees. Does not need to be fertilized more than 4 times a year, with emphasis on making sure ample irrigation is supplied to area. Perfect for those areas under dense shade for 70-100% of the day. It will tolerate damp areas as well.

Suggested use: part shade to sun areas, under pine trees that are trimmed up to mow under, all shade trees at the heaviest canopy, over seeding problematic shaded areas that all other grasses have problems establishing. Spikes only uses the best premium grass seeds. The big brands often package their seeds in plastic bags, our seed is stored in breathable cloth bags, never suffocating plastic.

Seeding Rates:

New Lawns: 6 - 8 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft.

Overseeding: 5 - 6 lbs. per 1000 sq. ft.
