Gertens is one of North America’s largest garden centers and home to Minnesota’s largest selection of annuals, perennials, natives, houseplants, trees, shrubs, and evergreens.  We’ve been “Growing in the Grove” in Inver Grove Heights since 1921 and our campus now covers over 100 acres of shopping and growing facilities. Gertens is still a family-owned business with a focus on giving customers the ability to buy high-quality plants and trees directly from a local grower.  After all, IT'S ONLY NATURAL TO BUY FROM THE GROWER.

Details

This self-watering 14 peat pellet Jiffy seed starting greenhouse kit makes seed starting easy as pie!

The seed starting tray is made with a special reservoir and water-wicking mat that keeps seeds moist for up to 10 days. The mat wicks the correct amount of water so seedlings don't dry out too quickly. The expanding peat pellets can be planted into the ground along with the seedling, keeping the roots intact to reduce transplant shock.  Includes: fourteen (14) Jiffy peat pellets, 50mm diameter (perfect for tomatoes and peppers)

  • watertight base plastic tray
  • water-wicking mat
  • clear plastic greenhouse humidity dome
