Lenten Rose (Hellebore) is also called the Christmas Rose. It is a perennial to zone 4. The indoor potted plant still loves cool temperatures and should be kept in bright light, away from any heat source and, if leaves start yellowing, place it out on your porch or breezeway. Water sparingly in winter. In spring you can start to harden it off as you would seedlings. Then plant in your garden!
