Heath Aster’s thin and small leaves help it survive in dry and sandy sites. Found in sandy soils, rocky prairies, outcrops, woodland edges, dunes and roadsides. Attracts a variety of pollinators and is a larval host for Silvery Checkerspot. Grows well in dry to mesic soil conditions in full to partial sunlight. Height ranges from 2-3′. White flowers bloom in Fall.
