I want to order from a fundraising group. How do I get to their site?
Go to gertensfundraising.com and enter the Store ID provided to you by the fundraising group.
Does my group qualify to participate in a Gertens fundraiser?
Any non-profit group can participate in Gertens fundraising programs. Some examples of groups that participate in our fundraisers include youth groups, scouts, school athletics, dance groups, mission groups, Relay for Life teams, etc.
How much money will I make from a Gertens fundraiser?
Your group will earn 30% on plants and wreaths/holiday greens; and 15% on Gertens Plant Cards less your delivery fee.
How do I get started?
You will need to set up a fundraising account with Gertens. Call 651-239-1321 or email fundraisers@gertens.com to get started; or download our Fundraiser Account Application from our website. If your group is tax exempt, we will also need an ST3 form completed and signed. Please return the completed forms to fundraisers@gertens.com to get your account set up. Notify Gertens of your intent to participate by scheduling your delivery/will call date.
What programs does Gertens fundraising offer?

- Plant Cards – can be sold as a stand alone or with each seasonal program
How far does Gertens deliver?
We serve the Minneapolis/St. Paul Metro and surrounding area, into western Wisconsin.
There is a delivery fee based on distance from Gertens (Inver Grove Heights, MN).
Please contact us to get the delivery fee to your area.
What can I purchase with my Gertens Plant Card?
Plant Cards can be used to purchase plants at Gertens retail store in Inver Grove Heights, MN. This includes annuals, perennials, shrubs, trees, pond plants, and house plants. This also includes fresh holiday greenery like spruce tip bundles and fresh cut Christmas trees. Plant Cards are for in-store purchases only. Plant Cards are not e-cards. Plant Cards may not be used for purchases under a wholesale/contractor or church account.
Do the Gertens Plant Cards expire?
No, Gertens Plant Cards do not expire.
What information do I need to provide Gertens to create my custom website?
Please contact the fundraising office to fill out our Custom Webpage Set Up form. We will need the completed set up form as well as a group logo or picture for your site.
Do I need to fill out another set up form if I already have a website and am participating in another season?
Yes, please fill out a new webpage set up form from one season to the next. We cannot assume delivery and contact information will remain the same for each season.
How do my customers order?
Gertens will create a custom web page for your group. You will promote your Store ID via email, text, or other social media. Your customers will place their orders online and pay with credit card online.
Can I track which person/seller sold the most?
Yes, we can make the seller’s name required on your site. You will receive a list of your orders including a column with the seller’s name. This will also help your group to distribute the product.
How do my customers get their product?
Gertens will deliver your bulk order to your group on your scheduled delivery day. You are responsible for sorting the orders and distributing to your customers.
What will my profit margin be?
Your profit will be 30% on any plants and 15% on Plant Cards, minus your delivery fee.
When will I receive my profit check from Gertens?
Gertens will process the check for your proceeds at the end of the season you are participating in. We will mail the check to the address you provide on your custom page set up form.
