Help and Advice

Details

Earth Science Fast Acting Sulfur starts working immediately to naturally lower the pH of your soil.

Acid-loving plants require a low pH soil environment to thrive. When used as directed, Fast Acting Sulfur helps your plants absorb more food and improves fertilizer effectiveness for a lush green lawn and colorful garden. Earth Science's patented Nutri-Bond Technology bonds with the soil to help keep more product where you put it. That's better for the environment and helps your lawn or garden get the most out of every application. As a result of Nutri-Bond, 1 bag of Earth Science Fast Acting Sulfur does the work of up to 4 bags of regular sulfur.

Product Questions (4)

Do not start any type of fertilizer regime for young seedlings until they have at least two full sets of regular leaves. Start with a root stimulator, then after a month you may move on to a gentle, weak (half strength) water-based fertilizer. Remember...
1) Nitrogen (leaf development, top growth) 2) Phosphorus (roots and blooms) 3) Potassium aka Potash (roots).  To shop Gertens fertilizer options, click here
Use a bloom enhancing fertilizer, make sure it has a high level of phosphorus (middle number of NPK) for full blooms.
The recommended root stimulator for Hydrangeas would be the Plant Starter Solution (4-10-3).
